·         Dr Maaruf Ali has been assigned as the conference co-chair for the third CoNTESA Conference in the series, since its inception in 2019. He has been an academic for almost 25 years now having taught mainly in England with several overseas postings. These have included serving as the Vice Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the College of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ha’il, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Programme Leader in Computer Science at Hangzhou Dianzi University's dual degree with the University of East London in China and recently Albania in the Department of Computer Engineering at EPOKA University. His latest post will be at the University of the West of Scotland, in the School of Computing, Engineering & Physical Sciences. Maaruf has over 160 publications and is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Chartered Engineer.
